Wednesday Night Men's League

Mostly a fun league with just a hint of competitiveness, Wednesday night curling for men is always a good time.  Two nightly draws at 6:45 and 9:00 PM.

Wednesday Night Playoffs Format:

• The round robin games ended March 3^rd  with playoffs beginning the next week. 

• The top 8 teams will play for jackets from the curling club. (Tie games are to play an extra end for the top 8 teams playoff)

• The next 14 teams will play for pizza and beer from the curling club.  The draw format will be posted on the draw board by the concession with rules on how points are to be recorded.  All games in the ‘B’ (14 teams) side MUST play 8 ends each week.

• Please check the website www.lacombecurling.com to see what time you will be playing each of the three playoff weeks.

• In past seasons, interest to continue playing after a loss in the playoffs has not been very good.  This year we asked for $20 from each team. This money will be used to buy some snacks for the final night of curling (March 24^th) as well as a cash draw to take place on the final night.  In order to win this cash prize of $100, your team must have played all three weeks of the playoffs, as well as be present on the 24^th.  This will be a random draw from all teams that were present for the three playoff weeks.  Hopefully this will help to keep the interest to the end of the season.  This will also make it more enjoyable for the teams that do always show up as they will have a team to play.  Thanks for you cooperation with this new format.
